Manchester and Salford Ramblers: Social Events/Fundraising

As well as a varied programme of weekly walks and hikes taking advantage of the excellent walking country around Manchester and Salford, the group runs socials to give people a chance to meet together and sometimes raise money for the group's activities.

If you're worried about turning up without knowing anyone, why not give one of the committee a ring first?

Future Socials

Moravian Settlement, Fairfield Square, Droylsden, M43 6AD 1.30pm

This will be a guided tour of the settlement which was founded in 1785 and planned by its own people and included not only the church at its centre but it's own shop, bakery, farm, laundry etc etc...I donʼt want to give too much away! Fascinating.
If you would like to join us the cost of the one hour tour is £5 which includes tea and biscuits. You will also have the opportunity to look around the museum.
I donʼt need to collect the money in on this occasion but it would help if you could indicate your interest in coming so that I can monitor the numbers. We have a maximum of 25 places so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to join us so that you secure your place. I will email back to confirm.
